Byron's Story
Life
Living the life that I have has been most rewarding. I would change very little. I have 4 beautifull children that I am very proud of. I have traveled extensively, including Germany, Korea, alaska,... I love to shooting pool, rock climbing/repelling, dirt bikes, and life itself. I've been rewarded well for all the strife that I've had to suffer.
Regrets? None Goals? Leave my children secure and happy for the time spent with me. Outlook for the future? Good, I still have a lot I want to do.
School
Looking back on school is a traumatizing thing. There were the confrontations with the staff, the time spent avoiding the women that didn't appeal to me, and the long time spent in traction after a football injury. ething that I would not trade for anything, and the friends I made were beyond the best! I long to see or hear from them.
College
The hardest thing that I ever did was going back to college. It was also the smartest thing I ever did. I attended ITT Tech. and obtained an AAS, and a BAS. It made my families life a thousand times better.
Military
After joining I spent Three years in fort carson, where I learned all I know about combat engineering and explosives. While there I was able to go to Germany, and Alaska, as well as galant eagle 80, in fort irwin CA. I then spent a year in Korea at camp Castle where we were asigned to rebuild the observation post at camp collier on the DMZ. Injured while there. Shot in the knee while on patrol of the MDL. Returned to the states and Fort Carson to complete my time.
